Amazonian Cubensis

$10.00$175.00

Amazonian is an original strain, found in the Amazon jungle, over 40 years ago. This is a very beautiful strain, strong, and high yielding, in the wild. This strain can also produce some MASSIVE mushrooms, and typically a very fast colonizer. From start to finish this one makes it happen with a quickness. From what has been observed in its natural habitat, Amazonian cubensis also typically has an even pin-set, with a low abort rate. Overall this is a must-have for any collection.

From what has been observed in its natural habitat, Amazonian cubensis also typically has an even pin-set, with a low abort rate. Overall this is a must-have for any collection.

The mushrooms of Amazonian cubensis often have a very silky, yet thick stem, and caps that range in colors from brown, golden, and orange, and commonly seen with a well-defined nipple. As the mushroom grows, and the caps begin to open, the veil usually breaks about halfway up the stem. This strain is unlike others as the stem will grow almost double from where the veil broke, before the mushrooms start to drop spores. This is what allows for amazonian cubensis to get so huge!

Different substrates provide different results for the mushrooms in the wild. Amazonian Cubensis always look different on each substrate that they are found on. Not just in size but also the coloration of the cap, and overall appearance of the cap as well. It is an interesting strain, to say the least, and is a must-have for any serious collector of spores.

  • Dinner plate sized caps are possible
  • Amazonian bruises a deep cerulean blue when injured
  • A great strain for beginners as it is contamination resistant in its spore syringe
  • Dark spore printer
  • Variable forms on different substrates. This strain never gets old!
